I’m Tim Dantzie, Author, Explorer of Ancient Mysteries, and Seeker of Human Potential. "For years, I dreamed of writing a story that captured the wonder and mystery of ancient worlds. Growing up, I was captivated by tales of discovery and the idea that there is so much more to our history than we know. My books are a way of blending science fiction with the awe of ancient megalithic structures, exploring humanity’s enduring quest for meaning and connection."

For as long as I can remember, words have been my compass. I spent schooldays writing short stories, driven by an early fascination with JRR Tolkien’s rich worlds, and filled notebooks with poems and songs. My love of history and timelines, seeing events across continents unfold together—blended with a passion for science fiction, technology and the mysteries of the dream world. It was only a matter of time before these threads wove themselves into the idea of Ancient Future, a novel born from every question I’ve ever asked.

In 2015, following a painful divorce, I retreated into months of silence and isolation. One night, I found myself speaking aloud in the darkness, frightened I was losing my mind. I knew my brother Denis would have answered any call, but I chose a different path. Drawing on a technique I’d long used to offload racing thoughts, I opened a blank document at 3 AM, intending to brain-dump my worries. Instead, I titled it as a novel and began to write. In that moment, despair shifted into determination, and I discovered my true calling.

Turning Challenges into Triumphs

Goal-setting, consistency and embracing fear are themes that run through Ancient Future because they mirror my own journey. I’ve wrestled with doubt, worried about failure and laughed at my own ambitions in quieter moments. Yet, I learned that belief without action is hollow. Inspired by parables of faith and perseverance, I set out each day to work for every word, every goal. My hope is that readers of my novel will feel that same surge of courage, to set their sights high, face uncertainty and push past every boundary.

Humans are born to question. Even when all our needs are met, we gaze across horizons and wonder, “What lies beyond?”  Ancient Future taps into that deep-seated curiosity. It’s a roller coaster of emotion, anger, hope, fear, joy, designed to remind us that adversity can spark innovation, and that our greatest breakthroughs often come when we dare to explore the unknown.
